Residential Care & Assistance

Residential Aide Assistance Services:

·                     Personal hygiene - hands-on assistance with:

                       o  Bathing (e.g. shower, tub or bed baths)

                       o  Dressing

                       o  Toileting (including toilet or bed pan usage)

                       o  Feeding

                       o  Mouth, skin and hair care

                       o  Shaving (with electric razor only)

·                     Transferring - hands-on assistance with:

                       o  Walking

                       o  Getting in and out of bed

                       o  Getting in and out of a chair and/or a car

                       o  Use of a wheelchair and a walker

                       o  Use of mechanical lifting equipment

·                     Taking vital signs:

                       o  Temperature

                       o  Pulse rate

                       o  Respiration rate

                       o  Blood pressure

·                     Escort to medical and social appointments

·                     Range of motion exercises

·                     Measuring and recording fluid & food intake

·                     Non-sterile dressing changes

·                     Applying ointments and topical medications

·                     Assist patient with urinary and bowel management programs

Skilled Nursing Services (Provided by an RN or LPN):

·                     Medication setups

·                     Wellness visits

·                     Medical education and training

·                     Medical case management (e.g. liaison with physicians and other health professionals)
